Is it still good and is there still enough to do, if you're not into the home decorating?
this game looks like free realms
It's The Best Peaceful Game Ever I Played , Amazing Quest , Storyline , No Stress Fr 💖
og free realms players iykyk
Bugs? yes. Incomplete? Yes, as its on ongoing tale. The storyline is just to keep you moving forward but its not the focus for most people. Palia is definitely about the journey, not endgame. Not enough shared content? Perhaps, but thats up to how you play. You can join a community group or just get familiar with the names that pop up frequently when you play and make connections. I've asked in chat if anyone wants to join me and form a hunting party and usually get takers. I've even ended up mentoring others who have just started after meeting them in the wild. Seasonal events usually rely heavily on team work like the balloon bop and chappa chase (which become more buggy, not less. More work was needed there!) so its completely up to you. It's a great way to waste many hours in a beautiful world. You get to decide how you play. I've purchased vanity items to support the project but I still wish they'd fix more bugs. It's not only annoying, it can ruin you night. Issues like not being able to loot drops, especially when it's a rare plushy that others were able to loot, not being able to connect to chat, being disconnected repeatedly during looooong loading screens between areas and more. Overall, its a cute game that needs some polish but I've spent many hours in this beautiful alternative universe, with predominantly kind, patient, like-minded folk. I recommend anyone who likes cosy games give it a try
smells like lgbt.
My only problem with the game so far is the running everywhere can get a bit annoying sometimes
What a cringe bow tie
Looks like Portia and Sandrock series
Imagine complaining about a game played on a potato.
This looks like a game for girls lol
10:25 – in which world are elderscroll games sweaty and tryhard?
i played this for a couple hours, i can’t believe they gave this an 8. couldn’t be a more obvious payola review. the game is buggy and unfinished. there’s no excuse for this.
So you build up a home.. with no features to host parties / events? This game is seriously missing social features.
What he said about the arrows is way off
Of course the story feels "incomplete"… It's incomplete, it's a live service game, the story is ongoing
From someone who has been playing Palia for more than a year. This pass 6-7 months with many updates, the performance in the Switch have gotten worse and worse. Not to mention the rumble feature, it’s one of the first reasons why I love the game so much! But it’s been broken for so many updates and with the latest update, it’s now also broken on PC/SteamDeck as well. It’s so bad that I picked up a Steam Deck OLED just to play Palia 😂.
How is it on Switch 2?
Perfect game for zero stress just fun.
So apparently now mmos are super popular, enough that developers and publishers are sticking the mmo tag on things that arent even mmos like its a selling point. I thought mmos were super niche and generated the smallest fraction of the money video games bring in… game like wow and ff14 making a few million a year while games like cod make 14B.
I love this game!
OMG, stop it with these shorter reviews with a lame mini-podcast at the end…literally NO ONE likes it!!
Nice bowtie
I currently play on PS5, I was drawn in to play Palia. While im still new to it, it does have some great points that were highlighted in the vid. The only downside that I have seen, or that's annoyed me, is that the controls aren't mapable, I find myself unfortunately stumbling into the store too many times due to muscle memory from another game where the game pad opened and closed the map. I also dont mind the presence of some microtransactions, but there's definitely some very expensive cosmetics that I wish were obtainable through playing the game and not through real money transfers. I also would enjoy if there was a more emphasis on the adventure aspect, letting people have a combat side when outside the towns. I.e., theres cosmetics to help us look like a ranger, a rogue, a sorcerer, a witch, etc., why not allow us to do that and become those classes or jobs. Then give us more gameplay around those. They could also expand the skills, i.e., cooking, mining, etc., to let people specialize and/or make them secondary/part time jobs. 😅
I liked the idea od this game, gave it a try played it 3 days in a row and idk, i can't fall in love with it. It feels so slow and boring.
For me its a 4/10
I dont like the hipster looks on all characters
Grew up with the OG harvest moon games and have held a love for this style of game ever since. Palia has me absolutely hooked ❤ Can't wait to see further expansions
Is trash game play Elden Ring instead or warframe if you want a life consuming game
aimed at 7r olds?
I was sold 31 seconds into this video lol I just downloaded it and I’m playing rn, it’s BEAUTIFUL and already really fun and I just started
But what would it be like on rhe switch 2? 🧐
Damn bro I can't believe you're still looking for that sandwich after 70 hours😅
I really adore it but..The only one missing from Palia is swimming… Literally on water just a half character it will reset
Just transitioned over from xbox one to a switch. I love the switch so much! Got this game downloading so be cool to try to get into
Not clownboyvomit 1:25 getting a highlight when talking about meeting other people in the game
You should've brought up its cult like community, who makes up rules that arent real and if you disobey you get berated by every single player in the server. Aswell as being blocked and called every name under the sun for not calling out a simple resource. They treat newcomers like veteran players who should know everything, and if you dont, your a waste of their time and shouldn't be on the game, incoming insults. The community as a whole is toxic and truly pathetic. There's much better games out there with the same mechanics and ideas. Ofc this is a free option so it obviously won't be nearly as good as the rest anyway.
Aside from the cult it has built. The game itself is alright.
Boring….
BORINGGG
Oh my god it's a miracle IGN finally posted a really long review! Awesome😁 also I just played this yesterday and it's awesome
