I have the ultimate digital edition, but can't download the dlc for Brooklyn. I reinstalled everything so many times and still haven't changed!!
I was an OG player from The Division 1 Alpha. I supported the game until I felt slighted after they gave away Warlords of New York to new players, but forcing existing players to pay? This tells me to not pay for the Div. 3 at launch (if it comes out) and wait until they give away the game and DLCs for free for $20.
Coming from survival games such as DayZ & Deadside & hoping for extraction shooters to come to console such as Tarkov, Delta Force & Arena Breakout Infinite, I see huge potential of The Division’s Survival mode. A gameplay loop that would have even more immersion, stakes, rewarding feeling and emotion than the base game. Survival hits different, but how can we make it hit even harder? Even though the division survival predates extraction shooters. It doesn't implement the core features that ramps up the tension. The whole point of extraction is keeping the gear you brought out. Stashing more gear that you looted for later runs. So if you die, you've got an extra jacket hidden away to put on. Whereas DMZ only has a 3 plate & Large backpack, hunt showdown not having any looting whatsoever, The Division Survival has a bunch of gear progression throughout the whole match. From clothing, to gear to different levels of attachments, to skills. You can really gear up in here but it falls flat because you know when you extract it's gone. Sure you get rewarded gear for the main game, but for someone who likes survival mode, they'd rather want gear that helps them in their next run… the gear they came out with and won. Imagine coming into survival with everything you've acquired in the last match. You can hit landmarks at the start. Cold doesn't affect you so you can explore well into daytime. The tension of having a 5 day character only to lose everything by a lucky player. Extraction shooters also have quests & vendor markets where you can use currency youve got from having good runs to buy gear. The Division already has vendors and stashes. It just has to be applied to survival. I imagine this next step in survival where it's more a persistent world. A hideout base where you stash drawers and closets of painkillers. Looking out the window and it's daytime going into night a 2nd time as players are joining into your lobby. Instead of being taken out of the world by the infection, you could sort of stay alive for as long as you want as long as you find the meds. Maybe hospitals refresh loot during day and you gotta keep doing runs. Maybe during daytime imagine civilians are outside starving like the base game but their shouting gives your location away. More buildings to enter even if they're the same interior skins copied and pasted (I think Madison Field hospital is closed) This game has the potential to be the best survival game and extraction shooter if you think like this. I think a way to achieve this day to night cycle runs option would be to add a new medical item that you could find & craft. Call it Surgical Kit or Medicine Lvl 2 & basically what it would do is reset your infection timer back to an hour giving you more time to stay in the world and scavenge. There could also be a way to exit out of the dark zone. So let's say instead of replacing how survival currently plays out, you would add my vision/features to a new mode called Endless or Permadeath. So this Endless mode would have findable & craftable Medicine Lvl 2 that would reset your infection timer to an hour allowing the ability to stay in the world longer. Which allows a more persistent day to night cycle progression where you could survive multiple days. It would have a gear stash for extra gear that you could choose to bring into future runs. This could range from armor to clothing to food. Kept gear upon extraction & loot refreshes. So basically standard mode would still start you with nothing each time, a new character. But Endless mode would have a completely different survival character, the one you've been building up. So essentially standard mode would kind of be like a Scav Run where you can play with minimal gear fear & practice. & Then endless mode with added persistence, progression & tension would have your main character that you can keep so long as you extract. https://youtu.be/qH-_Tp7Rijo?si=g6IpKmGWnsXwrkUs
I need cross save or cross progression !!!!!!

Anybody know how to buy the game? I’m looking on my game right now and I don’t see where I can buy it.
I used to play D2 daily but stopped because it became repetitive and boring. But, this Brooklyn DLC has me excited! I’m on vacation this week and I can’t wait to dive deep into this new DLC. Thanks, developers, for bringing new life to one of my favorite games of all time!
i hope many new content coming…
