It’s not a bad game but it’s no where near as good as the Arkham series
From someone who is still playing this first off I agree with rating and that the price was too high and it should be bought if it’s a sale, but there are things I will disagree with it first off you have the grappling hook, batcycle and your knighthood as way to travel and I’ll even add it the quick travel as well so that’s 4 ways to travel around Gotham which is great for variety if you get tired of one way just use another way.

I will agree the combat is different but they said they weren’t trying to make it like the Arkham series can the combat be annoying at times yes but I wouldn’t say that it’s bad it’s very different its not just mashing the attack button over and over again. You have to time the attack to do more damage. I see a lot reviews saying it takes too long to level up characters and I disagree I had a very easy time leveling up characters in fact it took me about 4 days to reach the same lvl as my red hood for every other character so it doesn’t take long at all.
A negative that you did mention which I agreed with is the camera it can be very annoying for an example in a mission multiple times I would run to a item mid fight because I had and hold x when I got to the item and pressed x the camera swung its around which made the whole fight annoying to deal with so yes the camera is quite annoying to deal with but out of all the complaints none are as bad as you make it out to be.
You didn’t get Red Hoods Knighthood which is something to help you through the game and since you said you only played as Red Hood you didn’t get anyone else’s either so as a result you didn’t enjoy traveling around but that’s not the games fault no offense but that’s on you for not taking the time to get those abilities needed.
Again the combat is just something you have to get used to overall and there was no mention about the multiplayer aspect of the game either but other than that I did fully enjoy watching your review. Keep it up 👍🏽
