Was not really a fan of third person games (apart from dead space) and was on the fence for months regarding Elden Ring and boy is it gorgeous. I am getting the old Skyrim vibes once again regarding immersion. Almost 50 so it's a bit of a learning curve for me but spending time just working out the combat flow and basically the game mechanics is enjoyable. Very impressed and don't really mind if its difficult 😊

I don't really think this game is for me. Too many stats and not much guidance. The start to the story doesn't seem all that interesting to me, either. All I understood from the story was "Powerful foes exist. Elden Ring makes you important somehow. Oh by the way you have a maiden now."
I know I'll get more of the story and understand more of the game later but I don't have the time to never make any progress unless I spend a ton of time on one part

Melina actually doesn't necessarily appear at the third point of grace you find. I did not encounter her until I had found my fifth (the prior 2 I found were in caves).
