Strandberg applies two opposite ethical positions at once. He supports 'might makes right' in relation to humans dealing with one another, but turns 180° when considering man's relation towards the rest of the natural world. Classic example of unhuman thinking.
I love this channel but this comic is even worse than the shlop that Hollywood churns out. Naguchi is one of the worst protagonist ever. They need to stop trying to recreate Ripley. It never works. It even says in this comic that Naguchi is a selfish piece of sh1t that doesn't care about anyone but herself.

This story, twice now has stirred up my emotions. Your narration is nothing short of excellent too. This has to be my fourth time revisiting this series. Won't be my last either.
Good story, but I would be much more critical to the actions of Yautja than characters expressed here. Yautja culture is shit – there, I said it.
First, they randomly pollute worlds with invasive species – the Xenos – then they eff up their landing by scaring, trying to kill the soft-meat human, ending up with their vessel exploding?
Then they start a fight among themselves – Yautja needs to reassess their point in the Universe.
Great job! You can tell how much effort you’ve put into this. Outstanding.
Like predator s killing things
I loved this comic series. bought it back in the early 90s when it was released, stupidly binned it when we moved house for the 50th time. None of the games or films come close.
this is maybe the 15th time I've listened to this entry (yes I like it a lot) and the first time watched the yakutja activities while they are talking at the start 😌 it's better than I thought, and I thought it was pretty bloody good already

I sure hope so.. here on youtube, I just searched "Alien comic book" like I always do, recognized the thumbnail, and without even looking at the creator name, I KNEW this was your video and one I've seen many times. My point being: I haven't searched your page yet and seen what all new stuff you've posted since my last visit. I'm sure I will already have looked and know the answer before you get to reading this, so, I suppose, you dont really have to answer… but, even if you haven't posted any new Alien or Predator reads, it doesn't necessarily mean you haven't read anything new yourself. Have you picked up any new books despite whether or not having posted videos on them? I bet they're really fun reads. I thoroughly enjoy this format and actually having the book in front of your eyes, that must be just great… anyhow, I enjoyed this video for like the 15th time lol… as I always do.
I already said it a year ago, but I love the intro in this one. I love how the pictures are metaphors or symbolism, perhaps, for what's being discussed, and I very much enjoy the back-and-forth between the two guys about what's right and wrong when, in the end, it's entirely subjective, tho both gentlemen bring a good argument to the table.

A lot of these comics/audio translations have a lot of philosophical questions. I love it, and its good for people to think on these things cause it directly affects our planet currently where there are widescale extinction events and global warming directly attributable to extremely selfish human behavior.

My cousin Wang Suk Lo resigned from a Hollywood production firm when they forced him to write a script for a new Predator series called Transdator which featured a Trans gender Predator with green hair and mental illness in the name of inclusion. He protested saying it was insane. They hired goons to attack him with heavy kicks to his groin to silence him.

You know, it's really too bad the AVP films didn't just use the stories contained in this series. Dark horse has been my favorite comic line since I was a teenager, and this is what started it for me. It would have been so much better than what we ended up getting.
