It's been going like that for years. Yes, that is a problem.
It doesn't matter when it was started. It's way too soon for a sequel imo as it clearly shows they messed up big time in AC3. The syncronizations were just retarded and held the player by the hand all the time while the only good things I found wer the hunting and Navals… and now they're making a sequel based on expanding and perfect these two. Just look at the screenshots, it looks almost like AC3

Doesn't matter… I know Far Cry 3 had a great story and gameplay and all but they are doing the same thing that COD and BF are doing now.. milking a perfectly good franchise with dumb forced sequels. Can't they just end it and start an original idea for once. I liked AC 'till AC3 because the ending guaranteed a sequel and I cba paying $200 in Fall just to play all the latest games. I will only support original IPs from now on and Indies + Whatever VALVe release since it's effin VALVe.. quality
@Darkness dude they have been working on ac4 since 2011 with multiple teams even got the devs from far cry 3 to help out. They made this a numbered sequel because it is diverging completely from ac3. Go look at the wiki dude if you love the naval battles on ac3 you will love ac4 they are taking it to a whole another level.
Plus if you played far cry 3 you know those devs can handle actual stealth assassination and firefight mechanics(they removed auto aim!) just go on the wiki.

They obviously need the main writers again to make the story work.. 2 Years isn't really 2 years if you think about it. AC3's been the main focus since 2009's release of AC2 and not to mention that this new game looks like shit. It's 60 years before AC3 happened so what's the point? They should've just started there instead of chronologically shitting on it one by one at the office. I will not be buying this next AC and seeing how it's pirate themed I can only say: Yarr, it's good to be a pirate
