In the video, I need to apologise to Giles Stevens for stating that Kevin Russell appears in only ONE electoral register.
He in fact appears in TWO, so he started "living in" at the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel sometime AFTER 10/10/89 and left sometime BETWEEN 11/10/91 and 10/10/92.
An expert remote viewer, Birdie Jaworski, recently did two recorded sessions re this incident, potentially uncovering another witness and details about the pilot of the intercepting aircraft. A previous comment naming her channel was deleted, so please find it via search!
It's great to see this–it completely changed my attitude to Dr. Clarke. Assuming, however, that he's the David Clarke who did a lot of work on your national archives. I was watching a video about the Rendlesham UFO incident and he appeared, defending the theory that what the guys on base at the time saw was actually a nearby lighthouse. I thought that didn't make any sense, because the MP's who first saw the craft said they knew about the lighthouse and had in fact seen it that night, thus disproving the speculation (I believe that some radar operators at the time said they too could tell it wasn't the lighthouse). Feel free to correct me on the details–I saw the documentary about five years ago and I may be in error. Anyway, here's Dr. Clarke, acting thoroughly cordial and witty and, best of all, seems to be a solid investigator, rather than the debunker I thought he was. So Dr. Clarke, as an American colleague (I too was a professor most of my working life), I owe you an apology. You're clearly doing important work and doing it well! I'm now elderly and retired, although I'm still teaching one online course per term. I still run a section per term of my research writing seminar, using UFOs and other strange phenomena for content and project topics. It's almost too good to be true! I'm getting paid to discuss paranormal events, a topic that I would continue to study on my own even if I had no course running. Happy to have my first impression corrected!👽
Given your collective and commendable stalwart investigative efforts to date, particularly the circumstances of contacting so many potential K Russell's and the Daily Record publishing the article and photographs along with David Clarke's Daily Mail article and in view of no one else coming forward with more information about the photographer or his background there may still be alternatives to explain where you're at currently and I'm pondering if you have considered these:-
Maybe K. Russell naturally died some time ago?
It is fairly probable the Calvine UFO photographer may have died a while back amply demonstrating reasons for little or no further forthcoming extent background information on K Russell and varying other loose ends. To offer a comparitive example when a person is highly sought for legal reasons, as with say a beneficiary of a substantially large estate where all the stops are pulled out employing numerous investigators to locate that person but the trail goes very cold in spite of all best efforts it is often times because the beneficiary eventually is found to have died also.
Another possibility. If an official dept. sent out two MIB-like DI staff who already knew what the actual subject matter of the photograph depicts what could possibly be the purpose for their visit to the witnesses?
Assuming veracity of the lasing special ops U.S. aircraft platform theory and alleged visit from defence intelligence staff, perhaps this is one of those ultra rare occasions where someone like Mr Russell may have been asked to sign the official secrets act about further non-disclosure, perhaps as a courtesy of U.K and U.S diplomatic relations at the time? Afterall it isn't too unreasonable to suppose any such exotic appearing American military aircraft tasked with target identification laser tech would want to be outed in a photograph with other more prosaic accompanying aircraft if secretly operating over remote areas of Scotland. Such a juxtaposition might explain the lack of official documents on Calvine UFO except perhaps briefly pertaining to the original dropping off of the photograph to the newspaper or acceptance of photos by the MoD.. It may equally account for the MiB-like narrative and alleged recalled subsequent reactions and disappearances of the witnesses into obscurity and poignantly why K Russell never came forward again after the initial story because he had consented to sign OSA. Subsequently and conveniently the lack of further details or witness testimony easily accounts for why others at the time and later assumed this case was a hoax. If this notion is true Mr Russell would be breaking the law to disclose what he knew and anyone coercing him would also be breaking another serious relative law too and that would have been clearly explained at the signing.
Optimistically, assuming the photographer is still alive but somehow reclusively or otherwise has not yet seen the Daily Record or any other online republications of his photo so doesn't know he is being sought, or perhaps he has and does but chooses not to come forward? Reading recently a feature on how Scotland still likes to listen to radio and how Forth 1 Edinburgh had an upsurge in listeners last year in spite of the bbc losing many radio listeners over a long period, has anyone considered appealing on Scottish radio stations for the photographer to come forward?
Just some initial ideas.
Unfortunately unless you can find any ex DI air staff to shed light on whether OSA might have been employed with this witness for aforementioned diplomacy(?) either on or off record. it is all speculative.
credible
What a fantastic effort by all of you, this is a model of research that should be copied by others, well done guys, amazing
Any chance the interview with Chris Gibson will ever be released? That’s a fascinating case in its own right.
Thanks for another fascinating romp through the developments of this story – although nothing in the update has progressed the story. I maybe missed it, but where did the photo of Kevin Russell come from? Who took it? What evidence is there that the person in the photo is called Kevin Russell – assuming you can tell us?
Thanks for the update team. I was wondering if anybody will ever find out who the enigmatic photographer is.
The plane in the photo is clearly a Folland Gnat.
The expert opinion it's a Hawker Hunter or a Harrier is ludicrous.
We still don’t know if it’s a bonafied ET craft or a alien reproduction vehicle, the Cash Landrum Craft was diamond shaped. And flanked by Chinook’s.
Professor Simon Holland does a good video and research into this. He thinks it's a radar balloon and makes a good argument. Would explain why the photographer doesn't want to talk about it.
Wasn’t the photographer supposed to have been British?
Thanks for that all of you I've really enjoyed watching that update, I'm as intrigued by this case as you are and its incredible the amount of effort you're all putting in to get to the bottom of this, your not jumping to any conclusions just looking for facts whatever they are to get an actual answer I as I'm sure everyone does really appreciates your hard work and effort so thanks once again and please keep up the hard work.
Photo ?
It’s quite possible that these guys were so frightened by there contact with these mysterious MOD guys ( if that’s who they were) and probably threatened with death including there families that they will never talk !
The amount of time and effort you guys have put into this is just mind blowing! Chapeau to all of you.
Could he have changed his name by deed poll or was made too?
Have you ever considered the possibility that the photographer may no longer be with us…?
Love all this. Great work. Proper journalism. Reminds me of my days on evening newspapers. The story is the celebrity here – just as it should be.
Maybe Kevin Russell was warned off by the hidden powers that be…
Hats off gentlemen. I recently watched a debunk video on this and thought well… That's that then… Until your previous video when it was cracked wide open again.
It must be exciting doing what you do. It's certainly exciting to listen to what information you've gathered.
UFO, US ARV or giant rock thrown and caught on camera… You guys are doing it right. Did or can the person who took the picture actually get an eyeball on what was captured in the photo.
Hopefully he's not been scared witless into taking the account to his grave.
Good luck
Lovely content guys ❤
That was another very interesting presentation, thank you for all the work you guys are doing 🙂👍 I know that someone is looking into the feasibility of the various reports on what this photo may respresent- stealth platform, exotic propulsion, rock reflection etc. Please don't take any of their presentations as a declaration of fact. As all they are admittedly doing is pursiung a line of enquiry then presenting it in an enjoyable and thought-provoking way. I really hope you can put any differences or misconceptions aside and begin to share ideas and info and work towards obtaining the facts together. I know how professional all involved are so I've no doubt this is easily doable. Thank you again, and well done on doing such a great job 👌🙂
Great show, guys!
Very interesting work. The UFO community is convinced it's ET; the MetaBunk community is convinced it's a rock reflection in water. Fortunately, there are people out there like you who don't have an agenda beyond simply finding the truth. A rarity today.
Did you research the limited company? Who else was a director?
Why is this so hard? Don’t y’all have something akin to social security numbers like we do in the states? How on earth does the hotel he worked at not have any background employment info? Addresses etc. baffling.
That is an amazing amount of work that has been put in. 👏👏👏
But…we (US) had something that could fly like that then? Aurora had anti-gravity? I'm just a mech. engineer but that doesn't look like an aerodynamic craft. Exhaust? Lighter than air? Hmmmmm.
Kudos to the Disclosure Team for the way you have handled this over the past months, by withholding the name it showed integrity and provided a tool for later confirmation.
Hopefully said party will one day see and step forward to yourselves with confidence should he wish to discuss the matter while keeping a low profile.
Great work guys
Good evening from the UK
🛸
Looking forward to this one Gentlemen, for those reading, in the description box is a link to a Daily Record newspaper report, likely worth a read.
