I never used Linux, but using it felt natural since I use windows. The store or Steam OS is not slow and it feels very fast coming from the Switch which is so slow and clunky that I sometimes don't want to go into it. The Deck Oled I am glad with because of how good the display, battery, performance of it all is. I also lost my Just Cause 3 save data when I moved it to my SD Card (check if the game has cloud save first), but I was able to just download the save files from others and insert into the correct folder (now I have everything unlocked + DLC, but at the beginning of the game, so not too bad). Plus Steam sales are so much better than PS and NIntendo.

I hate to say it because I was a total Steam Deck addict for a year now, but I decided to buy a Lenovo Legion Go last week and it blows the Steam Deck out of the water. It does everything the Steam Deck does just as cleanly except you have way more power and you have windows which allows you to play all those other games that prevent you from playing on the Steam Deck because of the anti-cheat that Linux doesn’t support. Playing CoD was a priority for me and I couldn’t do that on my Steam Deck… now I can play it on this massive 8.8 inch display at higher resolutions at a solid 60fps. That for me is priceless. It’s a must. Oh and I can play Xbox GamePass on the Legion Go. Another thing the Steam Deck can’t do. So I guess it comes down to what your priorities are. But I feel the Legion Go is even MORE power to the players.
