I’m glad the attitude you are showing here is not more prevalent. If the push back is not big enough the only message they will get from this game is = we can get away with 30fps with little downside on sales. Happily your take is an anomaly & the message received will be 60 fps matters a lot.
That aside the art direction of Gotham I don’t think is on point. It has wide open rectangular blocks like a modern city & doesn’t scream Batman for me there is not a lot of mist or rain either. However this is a personal opinion & art is different from everyone. It’s certainly not ugly or horrible. The game structure & story I’ll take your word on. I’ve heard from several sources now the story is almost top drawer.
I can’t really comment on unlock structure or gameplay specifics. Although the combat to the eye is a bit more floaty & less impactful that the other Batman games. Of course it may feel good when you are actually controlling it. I speak only from seeing here.
If a game is not technically good to me it’s not good period. This is my personal choice. Others may feel differently & I definitely did too way back. But this is where I am now. I suspect you played most of this on the PC where you would mostly be hitting 60fps. But that’s not the game people buying this on the consoles will get. 🤷🏻♂️ I’ve heard frame pacing is all over the place too.
There is a case for something like plague tale to be 30fps ( & even that one I’m not happy with but 🤷🏻♂️ ) this did NOT need 30 fps treatment.
I’m voting with my wallet. It’s the only metric that’s real & visible to games companies. So I pass.
Oh yea DLC can easily be interpreted by adding villain stories to the case files every so often and maybe coming out with a new hero

So empty boring gameplay WITH performance issues is FUN now? Bland combat with damage sponge enemies? No steady fps, with co op, which makes everything better. Smh

I'd like to jump back in if they fix the pc performance issues and if they ad a 60 fps mode on console I'll grab it for my PS5. I never had an issue with the graphics or the game itself. It looked like something I'd possibly enjoy
