I mean for the type of content it's giving I am fine with the glitches. Most of the time we it's not that noticeable. But we areas yeah it's pretty bad even for performance mode
The lag sucks and its supposed to be responsive but so many times I press buttons and nothing happens. This needs to be fixed. Not game of the year until that’s fixed .

I only played once I finished and managed to remember all the maps just by seeing once I don't know how but yes and im going again because man this game is crazy good
It’s amazing that they didn’t include a map. Maps have weakened our ability to remember things like where we were at or places we visited last. Everything looks different everywhere you go which makes it easier to remember places just like in the real world. They knew what they were doing.
It will be even better on PS5 Pro!

I've played this game on chapter 2 I've never had any off the issues u mentioned the flickering 2 say the truth it's been floorless game play so far and yes toke me 8 hours 2 get to chapter 2 the game is self is amazing
From watching video on some Chinese guides, there is a secret boss in chapter 1 where you have to trigger a series of events in chapter 2, get a secret item and then come back to chapter 1 to activate the boss. That might be the one boss you are still missing. By the way, this secret boss was actually featured in one of the games trailers.
I do enjoy the game from a narrative and design perspective- I have always liked Chinese mythology and Journey to the West is a very good tale.
That being said, I feel like the developers should’ve told their consumers that this is a souls like. I do not mind those games, having played several already. But I did not buy a game unknowingly to bash my head to a bamboo wall for a few hours against a tiger in chapter 2.
I truly hope they patch combat, much like they did with Lies of P, since the sraff – even when upgraded- does piddly damage against a boss that can one shot you (or close to). I know the game wants you to perfect dodge, and that’s fine. But I fail to see a reward from doing so. Yes, you get focus points for the charged attack. No, you barely have time to set up the animation to bash a boss on the head with the staff because they comboed you out of it

TBH this game is waaaay more polished as the games Release by ubisoft or EA. So thats totaly fine, except for the fact that this is a 70$ game and no 120$ bullshit season pass bundle…

Play more of the game before reviewing, recency bias is all over this review. You could preface this with this is a first impression and a more detailed review will come later… The game needs some kind of a map, navigating is horrendous. Combat is stale, repetitive, unresponsive, and stutters. Need more weapon variants, eye frames, and enemy movement needs more polish.

The map should be BANNED from any game, the fun is having no map , the game force you to use the brain and figure out the path, this is the fun , adding map you just make the game brainless and easy to navigate, this kill all the fun and the mystery of finding new location and things to find
