Look Like A 2014 Game

I don't get how some reviewers cite a game as 'average' and then go and give it 7 out of 10. That score is an above average rating and means the game is 'good' not 'average'. Average is 5 out of 10!
Anyway, that gripe aside, I think this is a decent gameso far (playing on PC) and I find the lead characters of Frey and Cuff engaging (I just wish she wouldn't swear so much and that lines weren't repeated constantly) with an interesting enough story. In fact, the narrative and cutscenes add so much more to the game than that confusing PS5 demo and I actually think that the developers should have released the opening two chapters as a demo rather than just a later gameplay-only demo that didn't explain the what, where or why of the storyline.
The game does have some performance issues though (playing on an i5-13600KF, 32 GB, RTX 3080, Windows 11 Pro PC) and a bizzare texture streaming bug that sees texture quality changing during cutscenes; one scene it can be 4K quality then the next camera cut lowers to it to what appears to be the lowest blur-o-vision quality setting. I have played around with the different Texture settings but I just cannot get it to consistently display the highest quality textures all the time. As such, I am seeing some very low resolution textures at times and with some of them it is hard to know if that is how they are meant to look or if it is a result of the texture streaming bug I mentioned.

You forgot about it the way you can trap enemies. Plant turrets. Summon fire decoys of yourself to distract mass of enemies
So far I love it the story is keeping my attention and the gameplay is amazing this is what I wanted for Final Fantasy XV back in 2016.
