the camera sucks ,some of the abilities and combo so slow, lack enemies variations ,to many controls on abilities that's doesn't work on stronger enemies ,the only effective way is hit and run arrow repeat ..so boring
This whole comment section is full of nostalgic babies who can't deal with change. GoW18 is objectively the better game vs the entire og trilogy just because of the advancements of technology alone, not to mention better writing, voice acting, and gameplay. You all in this comments sound delusional, it’s crazy, have you played the first games? Have you played the first games recently? I know i have, from ps2 to the psp ones and now im beating gow 3, u all acting like those game are perfect, the only palpable difference between the og games and the newer ones is the no jump, no combo meter, and a narrative driven experience which the first games also had but at a less degree, u can still juggle enemies if you know what your doing and what moves u do, shit man, i am so trash at games and felt the new games where frustrating……. Playing on give me a challenge and ggow, so i must asume that u are turbo trash at gaming, and you all have skill issues, the first 2 games are also incredible frustrating in some parts, if u are playing on max difficulty, which I don’t believe anyone in this comment section or the one making the video do, i would replay any day gow 2018 and ragnarok before Gow 1 game is a slog, also og games don’t have that much of replay ability, so don’t know what stupid juice u drank that led u to say such bs
I love the game, but i can see why you dont like it. Also hate that you have to watch all sides of the battlefield all the time, unless you cannot win. If the camera zoomed out during fights, it would be something else entirely.

The camera was the first thing i noticed i went into settings to try to change it. Uninstalled at 15hrs. After the same boss fight 10 times in a row. Minus the quick time event dragon fight. I kept trying to convince myself it won goty it has to be good at some point
God of war is the most overrated series out there. Even the originals are bland, sure executing the Greek gods are fun but thats it all there is. Game play is repetitive. I consider the originals far better than the 2018 one but still pretty bad. I mean how fun is repeatdily hitting a button 400 times just to beat one un important enemy.

I played both titles and for me these are the most overrated games. I wish they would have made the combat system more simpler to a true hack and slay. Without all that RPG stuff. And i love 100h JRPGs and being in menus and all that. But here it feels so off and wrong. Many puzzles are weird too. The enemie spam is really horrible. Same enemies over and over with a frustrating combat system. The story and the father & son thing itself isn't too bad. They need to cut out 50% of the game. Making a hack n slay combat system with new and epic enimies… Once used, and not repetitive redesigns. Remove the RPG stuff completely. Learning new skills or finding weapons, should be enough. No need to optimize stuff in menus. Everything takes me out of the story and experience. I think i will not buy another God of War.

You people in the comments don't seem to have heard of the "genres" of different games, and this game is one hundred percent one of the best, if not the best, in its genre. It’s an ideal game, polished to the smallest detail, it combines everything, phenomenal graphics, combat, plot, characters, bossfights, music, staging, sidequests, an open world and its beauty, this game has it all.
Just today I completed it for the first time, and this is perhaps one of the best experiences in the gaming industry that I have ever felt. And you are simply turning a blind eye to the numerous advantages of the game and bringing its disadvantages to the absolute level, simply because it is popular and highly rated all over the world
