Kohh is the worst player id have ever seen.. but hes right about difrence about acts
the guys at Larian looked at what made the Witcher 3 so immersive, story, ambition, character, unique story-lines, ambience, music, color and sound.
and looked at the success of the first Dragon Age game Origins, its tighter map design that feels not overwhelming but also never empty.
together with the turn systems on which DnD is based which was the inspiration for DA its simplified turn based system.
gave it the coat of an old classic with an incredibly rich lore.
and said now lets make a baby XD
incredible game, imo the true successor to what dragon age could have been..
every moment is unique, every decision different, every play-through distinct.
wanna save scum like i do on my first playthrough do it!
wanna play with friends? do it!
wanna be the worst evil to ever exist? you can do it.
wanna cast sleep on the trader rob m blind and then resell them their own gear? do it XD
wanna be the most idiotic party to ever exist with no intelligence or wisdom but ME SMASH! do it.
your options are boundless and only limited by your imagination.
Ive noticed how many videos Asmon has watched about BG3, and the fact that he still hasn't played it means I've lost all respect for him.
I still think I got cheated out of the owlbear achievement. It was in my camp and I long rested over and over and never got the opportunity to pet scratch and the cub. WTF. Otherwise great game lol.
This game is just incredible. I'm probably like halfway of chapter 3 completing everyquest I can find and it's crazy how this game makes me realised how bad other games are in comparison
worthy successor to bg1 and bg2. thats all i m gona say.
the only other game that was good enough since bg2 was pillars of eternity. but when the very first game i ever played was bg2, you do kinda get really high standards. bg3 was worth the 22 years of waiting
I’m here a year after this video came out and just started playing bg3 and still in act 1. Anyone want to mention maybe how it’s changed in a year or have they patched the other acts further than a year ago?
I got in to this game after a year of it being out, mainly because of financial reasons, but i'm glad I did. I can't say what the game is like when col played it, but as of today having finished my first play through with 149 hours played. this is my new skyrim, my new witcher 3. I am going to lose thousands of hours to this game! i love it so.
150 hours? I have been playing for like over 200 and haven't finished Act 3 yet lol.
If it’s got DEI in it, IDC.
Im still waiting for this revolutionary gameplay 😂just about to finish act 1😂you can only make one right decision the others automatically get you killed
He was kinda right
150 hours is rookie numbers, and depending on how u play through and the choices u make will have an impact on how u feel about the 2nd and 3rd chapters. Its not perfect, but i think dude was being a waaaay bit too bit picky
COH thinks Act 1 is the best and rightfully it is so. It has been so polished from Early Access. Act 2 and Act 3 did not have such luxury to be polished like that. Give Act 2 and Act 3 a few more patches (if Larian wants to) to polish it up. As of writing this, Patch 8 with 12 new subclasses are coming.
I played BG3 but then started playing Divinity original sin 1 and 2. Lemme tell ya. I spent 130 hours on DOS 2 first play through. I plan on spending another 130. Larian made good af games
BG3 is a fine game but it isn't that unique. Have people played BG1 and 2? Dragon Age Origins? Neverwinter? Mass Effect? Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines? Witcher 3, Cyberpunk and the rest. There are so many games that have done it all before. And done it well too. Don't get me wrong it's really good but it's as if people have forgotten all the previous brilliant RPGs.
So did the issue of act 3 get fixed
150 hours? so a run and a half?
>baldurs gate 3
>cRPG
really nigah?diablo is a crpg..baldurs gate 3 is a true rpg. he can get alot of flak for alot of stuff, but not the rpg elemnts of it.
crazy to think though only 40% of players on steam have left act 2 a year later( the achievement shows you the %). im on my first play through and love it. tried to play original sin 2 about 7 times but couldnt get into it but ill defo go back after ive completed BG3 and have a play of OS2 now i know the mechanics
He is correct about the bugs creating problems in act 2 and 3 , HOWEVER storywise if act 1 is 100 then act 2 is 120 and then act 3 is 200
I’m having trouble completely understanding all the mechanics but I really like the game and I’m trudging through til it clicks
Tell me you didn't play Divinity: Original Sin 2 without telling me you didn't. ^.^ BG3 is far less unique if you played DOS2.
Act 2 was better for me than Act 1 – the twists were incredible. Raphael’s House of Hope was in Act 3 and it was my favorite part of the game. They stuck the landing too.
"what's the third thumb" 🤔🤔🤔
Wow so i played BG3 when it first came out and played it for 100+ hours and was hooked LOVED IT !!! Got to Act 3 and my friends convinced me to play path of exile league that was starting up so i took a "break" from BG3. Four days ago i decided to continue playing it and am having a blast in act 3. I did not plan for this but by some miracle looks like i dodged all the issues he mentioned in act 3 that i did not even know existed.
so did asmon play bg3 yet?
Wow asmongold acting as he didnt spend what about 10k+ hours in wow???
And this is why I never preorder and mostly play games about 4 years after they come out.
Stopped in act 2. Should I go back play now?
Tried this game since release and i must truly really honest to god SUCK at it…i LOve the story n visuals but i just cant get anywhere in this game ,months of gameplay and stuck at a place that just is insane when looking up others y.t and i just cant get away from the place i am sue to enemies that just kills me and w that i just dont understand how anyone can enjoy it at all?
So witcher 3 is still the best game i played(bg3 would be at same spot if not for me really sucking hard)
Dude BG3 is now one of my all time favorite games. 270+ hours in and just now into act 3. Wish I had time to finish, but, my newborn son monopolized my time. Stupid kids…
Act III is much better now
No he's right, Malenia is overrated and basically just falls back on waterfowl all the time which is a dumbass ability.
Act 3 is just you solving peoples problems, sure it has quests that are meaningful but its just you gathering alllies and then you oneshot orin and gortash because you are too op.
The writing team is still as cringey as it was in DOS2. The quests and dialogoue options have a left-lean to them that can be frustrating if you're trying to play a serious character willing to make tough decisions. Its usually "accept them completely", "be nice", and "be cartoonishly evil". Very few "be a little harsh but still fair".
