all catacombs are so badly designed in this game

Since my 1st dungeon with imps, I keep a bow. I peek rooms and knock ‘em off walls/ ceilings and bait corners.
In this dungeon you can use the frost pillars if your advantage. Just bait em into it lol.
The 2nd statue I just bait down the stairs and run in to loot. The statue will lose aggro and come back up to reset position.
Only fight (before boss) is the 1st rot knight that’s always bugged someway and imps lol.
If someone says that souls games have tough but fair difficulty and don't rely on high damage and number of enemies show them this catacomb
For those who have a problem with cats – you can just ignore them. Collect items while running or use stealth
This is the worst dungeon in the game by far

Fucking dungeon is straight cancer. Imps that attack you out of sight that almost 1 hit you.
Thanks for creating and sharing this. Because I like to face the final boss in a dungeon with all my health and focus pots I figure out enemy weaknesses and apply strategies and items to maintain my HP & FP. Imps & Burial Watchdogs are less resistant to blunt or strike damage and magic, so a Mace, hammer or club with Gravitas or Waves of Darkness (or using Magic Grease) is very effective for lower or appropriate level characters. Blocking with a shield then Guard Countering with Assassin's Crimson or Cerulean Dagger's equipped, will return HP & FP. I also have a few very useful messages scattered about, so my health pool is constantly being topped up. I also tend to bait enemies into those Frost Fog Pillars and make use of Mohg or Margit's Shackle, to kill them.
Use Margot’s shackle it will open hidden doors and drop the pillars, it has huge range and unlimited uses with no requirements
If you use Margits shackle it takes down every pillar in the game you just need to go close enough to trigger them

Hey man, when you use your ash of war press the right trigger after pressing the left trigger to use its second ability which is a flash step attack
