Which language had the BEST voices this time? (and what did YOU THINK of the 2nd trailer?)
Japanese Peach..?
ARA ARA
Peach said in Dutch humpback
So I have a theory as to why the other dubs sound better than the English one: we don't speak English and most of the movies are in English language. Meaning we have to dub them… A lot of them! So we have professionals in that field. A lot more than America for example because we have to! We need to dub movies with actors! You don't have to, they already speak your language!
Also, we don't take actors to dub, we take VOICE actors. Not the same exercise, more difficult and technical, so no, an actor CANNOT automatically dub. I'm french but they were all good in their own ways IMO.
Also, I think that if the English Luigi sounds better than Mario, that may be because he's an actual voice actor lol and not a star talent!
And of course, don't even get me started on Japan, they're literally the kings of dubbing, and I don't think I need to explain why, yes?
Fun fact : peach voice actor also did zelda in botw and totk
The France peach sound like Elisa
I Favourites is Japan
Crazy even the coco in Spanish i perfer than the English
something i really like about the french version of the throneroom scene : Peach's voice resonnates (or reverbs, idk what the proper word is) making it really sound as though she is raising her voice in a large room
it doesn't distort the voice, she isn't shouting : she is commanding … and with the awesome music right on cue, it just adds a whole layer of epic to the scene
i don't hear that effect in the other tongues (though perhaps it's just i'm not trained to hear them) so i wonder if only the french VAs thought to put it in … if so damn good job !
In Japan, Toad is known as “Kinopio”.
7:36 I'm a Brazilian person and i can explain you what did she say.
She said “Nós” in Portuguese this means “We”. But the accent of the Princess Peach, sounds like the word “Noise” In English.
She said: “Juntos nós podemos deter esse monstro”.
In English: Together we can defeat this monster.
"dieses" (that) = "jesus" AHAHAHA
The French dub is awesome, it was my favorite. The Japanese Peach is very good. And German fits perfect on Bowser.
7:38 – She said NÓS, which means WE.
Dutch is netherlands im netherlands japenese is my favorite
Japanese is literally an anime
France and Japan less gooo
Lol im german
You should have listened to the Latinamerican Spanish audio of Mario landing on the rainbow road instead 😫 he did the yii-ha-ha & wahoo just like in the video games. While the Spain one was a copy & paste of the english one.
I seen the movie how about you guys
0:18
Im insulted
Android 18 (Dragon Ball) voice actress as Peach in the japanese version?
when peach say noise in brazilian portuguese they say nos (we) im a brazilian but ik english
To me as a German, Peach's voice was actually the weakest in the dub bc when you watch the entire thing you can hear a slight accent in her earlier scenes that none of the other characters have (I'm not quite sure if it's regional or generational, the VA is about my age and many people my age have an accent like that), but the German dub is still really good overall and the accent does get a lot weaker at the end! Something I also noticed is that Peach's and Luigi's VAs are actually related- turns out they're niece and uncle. Doesn't surprise me at all, if you dive into the voice acting business in Germany a bit you see their family name come up pretty often, but it was still a fun discovery xD
No brazilian portuguese 🥲
Japanese browser straight up chills 😱🥶
French Mario
English Luigi
German Peach
Japanese Bowser
8:19 so she said: „dieses“ and it means „that“
As a German I don't really enjoy the German Dub all that much, peach sounds weirdly airy, and mario is literally just Chris Pratt i.e. the actor who is always used for Chris Pratt also does mario and it is boring.
The french dub is by far my favourite and I have heard parts of the portoguese one that was just fantastic.
Would love to watch the japanese one as well. Gotta look more into the dutch Dub cause I might be able to watch it
wth did he say germany and zoom into the mexican flag
5:55 bro that's literally the same as the english one… you're so biaised you don't even have an opinion yourself lmaoo
Ffs.. can you like shut up for few seconds so that we could hear the comparisons?
German Peach sounds best. Peach is supposed to be fairly young.
She sounds like a typical angry snubbed woman in English. It's something I've been sick of seeing for a long time in movies.
