I know I'm the LAST guy in the world to talk shit but I think an upgrade to at least 1080p for your videos would work wonders. You have a SX so buy a thumb drive & you can record up to an hour of footage in 4k 60
PS5 capture will do 4k (I'm sure you know this) but it takes up WAY too much room on the internal storage but it also captures in 1080p
If your pc can't do it just use share factory & upload directly to YT from your PS5

I loved this game, it had a disappointing launch for PC, but I own a PS5 so the experience has been somewhat flawless, I have my issues with the game itself, but man I love it! Great video! Hopefully there's improvements made in the dlc or sequel, I have a lot of faith in SDS and Glen Schofield!

I'm having an amazing time with this game! It's honestly what I wanted and expected! I'm playing on the Xbox series X and I've had 0 issues with it not frame dips or stutters that I have noticed and it's definitely scratching my horror itch! I seriously can't wait for that season pass!
Honestly your thoughts are near identical to mine. I find it upsetting that people crap on this game, when the same people beg for something new and innovative. I played on the hardest difficulty and yes once you get more than 3 enemies at a time the game gets really hard and at times annoying. I have other nitpicks but I still enjoyed the game and appreciated what they were trying to do. If I had to change combat healing needs to be quicker and weapons need more damage to keep up with the fast and strong nature of the enemies. I also think the melee should have its own separate control scheme so when switching between guns and melee the melee controls can be more fleshed out with dodging, and melee combos. I also agree that this game is very unique and hopefully in the future people will appreciate it for its uniqueness. I do hope to see more of this game in sequels.

Minor spoilers: I was really dissapointed in the lack of bosses. I mean apart from the final boss, there was a "boss" in a later chapter but I stopped counting him as one after you have to fight 3 more of them. And do not get me started on that ending, it is pretty obvious they want to sell the real ending in DLC.

From what I've seen, it's the first hour. The game dodging and fighting multiple enemy's just make you so frustrated. Beautiful game and when you get the combat down it looks so fluid. But it's that first impression that kills this game from what I've seen.

You're right in saying there's no other game like Callisto. I'm having a blast!
I think one of the main reasons it is getting these negative scores is the crazy hype for the game.
This is only made worse by its graphics and trailers, which make you expect as much quality across the board.
It is marketed like a huge AAA title while it didn't really start that way, and maybe was never meant to be.
I think its gameplay is the biggest problem, it's really not what people are used to and was probably too novel and complex to be changed close to release.
I may not yet enjoy the melee gameplay too much, but it at least looks very good animations-wise etc.
All in all, so far I'm really just happy there is another game somewhat like Dead Space.
