I'm blessed with a cat who is super chill with clipping her nails. It's usually a two person job for us as one holds her and the other clips her. I think she just enjoys the attention 🥰

That music is really annoying and makes it hard to hear
We came up with a trick for our cat. We give her a quick shower, then wrap her up in a towel to dry off. Also we leave enough space to cover her eyes with the towel. Then I hold her as she trusts me most and my wife or daughter do the trimming. It always works. Even at the vet, when we trim the nails, it works best when I hold her and the nurse does the clipping.

My sweet kitty growled and growled as I followed this video just to let me know I was stepping over the line. There was no biting and no scratching and, at the end, a reward: tuna for my cat and relief for me (of not having to pry her off pillows and blankets)!

My cat is 13, I've never had this done, he seems to be able to keep them tame with his cat tree.. and my recliner. Still thinking about getting a pair of trimmers just in case.
