Hi, love your videos. We are pu a puppy next week. Do you have a video on introducing a puppy to an older dog. What to do when we arrive home with the puppy. We have a crate and puppy pen. What good are 'tricks', with treats, if you have no control?
I have been watching many of Zak's training videos. In the beginning, I found his methods encouraging and helpful. Now I'm seeing that his training is more like human, "progressive" psychology, being transferred on animal instinctual behaviors. He has commented, "…would you allow your child to do thus and such…? I don't think he has children? His training methods may be popular, but the effectiveness seems to be lagging or hit and miss (what we see at any point may not always be the full experience, or edited). He had 3 weeks to train Kona. His schedule was 24/7, and I'm sure he was getting paid good, on top of vids and advertising, etc.
Letting many of the negative behaviors continue on, in the guise that Kona would 'eventually' get it. That defers your responsibility as the teacher, especially with biting.
The whole psychology of letting Kona decide when he's ready, is promoted by you, the trainer. You wouldn't want your kid to think playing with matches, or run out in the street, is ever something for them to decide. Yes, there are as many factors in dealing with each dog and situation. Zak's own dog, Inertia, is a highly intelligent dog, who plays Zak like a fiddle. And those treats! Way overkill. Not sure of his sponsors either. Seem high end. My take away: Zak's training methods may be possible, but in all probability, not as effective as he portrays…in my opinion.

2. Playing with indie, cat and other dog. .
3. When aggressive, pick her up or put her in krate to calm her down..
4. Take her away from them and give her good behaviour training calm her, do basic training.
5. Teaching how to catch frisbee in the air.

It's so funny how my 3/4 Border/Aussie pup, Eevie, has similar face expressions to Inertia! Even how she reacts to things look almost the same. I keep thinking to myself, "That is so her!" Makes it easier to understand what's going on with raising Eevie when I see it clearly with you and Inertia.
I second having a banner on the vid (at a consistent part of the video (so I know where to look–sometimes I miss it and have to keep rewinding back and forth to find it) and thumbnail. It'd make it easier to follow along and refer back to past videos where I need reinforcement on techniques.
Great series!! We've been following since you started the series and the months in preparation for Eevie made it easier. It made me feel not so horrible or a failure if she wasn't picking up on things. Great reminders too to be prepared for impromptu training sessions, to be patient, and sometimes just let her be a happy pup.
