Barely started this game cause I wanted something fresh and new to play. Loving it so far and not sure why it gets hate. The movements and combos you can do are crazy and barely in chapter 3. I play on hard for a bit of a challenge and I’m forcing myself to beat all mutants and tough monsters when I see them. Takes a long time doing like single digits damage but I get it done lol. Movement kind of reminds me of infamous.
Another tip is to keep your old coins and not spend them in cipal because there is a shop in the Visoria region where you can spend your coins for items that are infinitely more valuable and useful. To buy them all you will need about 150 old coins so save them coins
i don't hate anyone who likes it, but that doesn't make the game good
This became available for free on PSN+ recently and I've been playing and enjoying it quite a lot. It got so hammered at launch with terrible reviews, but I'm having fun with it. The exploration is addicting! 💗
This games story is honestly kinda "meh." The gameplay is fun and fluid, though, and more than makes up for the lack of good story.

This game was genuinely so fun. It had it's cringe moments, but not nearly as many as people pretended there were. And even those were completely overshadowed by one of the most fun magic systems I have ever played. And honestly for two first time writers, the story wasn't even bad – just needed a couple more revisions that it unfortunately never got.
I wish you could just mute her voice it would be a good game. I cuss a lot but all the cursing seemed out of place.

The game is nice, pleasant, and enjoyable to play. Most people tend to hate the game because of reviews, but most of the time, reviews are wrong, or they just have a different taste from you.
Those 'monster-y remains', as you dubbed them, where Mana Pools tend to cluster around; I think they're left-over from the evil 'tree' that the Reddig were using to reconstitute Susurrus, in 'In Tanta We Trust'…
I find myself grumbling “STFU!” anytime she says something. I can’t stand their bickering but I wish there was a spell to zip her mouth. I understand it’s her adolescent mentality for the script but when it’s the same several lines repeating repeatedly repeated, it’s gets repetitive… as if the game wasn’t repetitive enough. Latecomer to the game (it was never on sale until recently!) but I’m enjoying it so far! Just got Sila’s power 💥 but I was able to immediately max upgrade all the spells with what I’ve got. Is that normal?

This game isn't nearly as bad as people like to say. Sure it's got it's rough spots, every game does, but it's still enjoyable.
Not saying this to justify spending a ridiculous $70 on it either because I got it for $30 "thanks" to all the negativity.
Good stuff this game really deserves some respect! The combat and traversal systems are so unique. So glad to hear they got dlc coming looks really good
