looking at the title… "why are BG 3 reviews so overwhelmingly positive?" Not even gonna bother watching the video, as I and almost everyone else can answer that question: It's a good game. See, simple, easy, no need for an almost 12min video to talk about reviews that came out A YEAR AGO.
0 mention of the incredibly stale 3rd act. Great game if you are into flirting with pixels… Steam started offering me adult games based on my apparent recent activity (BG3).
Cuz it has hot mindflayer in it
The game appeals to everyone. It’s true freedom and nothing feels forced. There is no hidden agenda or political undertones. It’s not hard to see why it’s overwhelmingly positive.
If you want context as to how enjoyable the game has been for me, there's only two games on my steam list that have just over 1000 hours of play time. Skyrim and BG3. One is 13 years old, and the other barely a year.
