I can't lie, I still use reviews but not the scores. I've played games that are 6/10 or 7/10 and LOVED them and played 9/10 or 10/10 games and hated them. I'm to the point that I'm willing to give the 6s or 7s a try. I look for what reviewers say more than scores. With this game I hope for a 7 or 8 out of 10. Sadly the game has to be the one that follows Arkham Knight. It is what it is. The current New England Patriots will always be compared to the Brady Patriots. If the combat is okay but the story is excellent, I believe we will have a winner. Combat is my biggest concern but they have to deliver the story of a game without Batman. I am hoping for the best.
I keep telling people reviews don't matter companies don't look at reviews as much as they look at sales and I personally am looking forward to the game I don't expect it to be perfect but I love what I've seen with the story and combat and at the end of the day I just care more about my personal enjoyment not a group of strangers opinions

I don’t like certain reviewers especially ign that they think their the official super critics of games most times biased. Youtuber game reviewers have like a neutral opinion which are honest like Gameranx. Every reviewer will have different opinions but result in similar conclusions and scores. I watch each one to decide tbh. Hopefully a 8-10 score.

I think this will probably be a solid 6/10 from me tbh. It doesn't look groundbreaking but it doesn't look like complete crap either.
I think the only that would put me off buying it, is if the game was broken or glitchy at the level of a cyberpunk 2077 because there is never any excuse for that and WB montreal have had around 8 weeks after going gold to sort out a day one patch.

I've seen a lot of people go from not caring one bit to being much more excited for the game. All because of the previews.
Well, i expect a very lukewarm reception of the game: nothing spectular but not a terrible game either; personally, i think i will have a lot of fun with the game.
We're gonna have to prepare for the type of review of the person that is still stuck on Arkham and is still stuck in the mindset that's something as simple as that glorified combat system set the standard for combat as a whole in gaming when it's only the precipice. But credit will always be put where its due. Besides thats its people that only care about Batman.
I think it will land at an 8. Because while the preview did give a chance for influencers and YouTubers to see how it feels to play…but what it didn’t do was give the feel of the complete ride from beginning to end in regards to the villain story arcs, main story, and just exploring Gotham in its entirety as well the reveals and or cameos that happens while playing the full game..I say an 8…which is still a great game. I’m getting it regardless the reviews.

Honestly I’m waiting till first hand impressions of the full game are out. The gameplay has been very mediocre and bland. Even more so the very very noticeable lackingvv of WB Montreal to speak on how loot and progression work not to mention the endgame to a degree
