Fir some reason this image reminded me of Anne of Green Gables which in turn reminded me of the novel’s Author, Lucy Maud Montgomery. And I couldn’t help but relate the instrumental to her sufferings. She was in agony.. writing fiction was her only solace but as time progressed she became more burdened.. broken by the state of reality and its bitterness and brutality. She tried to ignore it best she could until she no longer could. She left us at 67 of age. A lady with a heart so pure, honest and true. The flower that once bloomed within her withered over time and could glow no more. Being present during a time in which witnessed two horrible world wars. Was devastating to her and she wrote with all might during each period of time, encouraging men to fight for the right reasons.. to end evil and spread peace.. restore smile to a child’s face and end miseries!
