The Xbox Series S is a very capable machine and the developer is either lying or simply not capable of doing this. It is possible the way they developed it has made it really hard to optimise for lower ram. Noting PS5 is struggling and Sony helped them – which is worrying.

Black Myth Wukong is soooooo fantastic on the ps5 pro. Xbox is way to weak for this game.
Just pushing back on the Capcom thing, it had nothing to do with back compat. People were confusing Gen 9 aware games. Capcom released Ace Attorney Investigations only on Xbox One and it plays fine no Gen 9 aware required. The issue I suspect was the MT Framework wasn't updated for Xbox One, causing issues for Capcom. Issues they could and should have gotten on the phone with Xbox to help solve. Rather than being craven and skipping. As for Wu Kong, Wu Chang exists, so money going there instead, tough break for them. Don't take any bags if it will lock you out of money. Square Enix learned the lesson, they will too.

Sony was exposed to have monopoly in the high end console market by regulators during the ABK acquisition in Asia. Sony isn't gonna shout about a deal that will further hurt the competition. It's also the reason why Sony didn't go for more than a 10% share of Kadokawa. Any more would need regulatory approval.
The series s is not capable, it’s a garbage machine that even your own bethesda devs (Id tech) hate, should hear how much disgust the dev industry has over it during the game awards, just wait for the amount games skipping the irrelevant platform (Xbox) over the gen, Xbox is cutting funding for 3rd party payments for ports & series s/x support. The difference will only get worse for Xbox compared to the console (that gamers & devs love) that is more capable AKA playstation 5 & PS5 Pro AKA the only true next gen console.

Wukong doesn't really run that well on my 4070…still. Now! Hopefully they can get it their act together technically and PR wise, cause it don't look good. Xbox console players shouldn't sweat it. Is simply a matter of them not having the experience to do it in a timely manner, not that the series S can't do it. However, all this points to is that there may be an increase in 3rd party devs that decide that putting all that extra effort on a series s version of games is not worth the investment of time or money. Hopefully Microsoft learns to not leave such a huge power gap between their launch SKUs.

Is Xbox fault for not being a better competition. When your console sells in the dirt, this is how stuff happens just like back in the 360. Xbox was taken everything from Sony cuz ps3 was in the dirt. When you the loser this what happens. And they had all the tools to be the winners and they threw it away so this is what we get.
