Isolation is so bad. I feel this movie was too tired up in member berries. It never really got scary and the uncanny Valley was not crossed by ash. It was SO DISTRACTING. This one thing alone almost totally ruined the movie for me.

Sorry, but i thought it was boring at times and unwatchable at others. Too many callbacks, way too similar to every other alien movie, cast was too young, and that birth scene was low hanging fruit. I mean, really? How mysogynistic can you get? Theres also the too rapey stabbing of the very vaginal looking thing. Its just ridiculous at this point.
I loved how they metaphorically made it seem like blacks were easily programmable. When you look at (in general) such a heavy programming of gang activity in the black race. I don't think many ppl caught that.

Watched this last night coz me and the wife are watching through them all in chronological order. I really enjoyed it, I don't really understand why this one has a bit of a bad reputation. It was nice having Prometheus, Covenant and Alien fresh in my memory from the last few weeks as there were a LOT of callbacks and incidental details in this one.

I think you forget the scene after Rain completely wearing the space suit. The close up scene focusing on Rain face inside the helmet, her face suddenly just really resembling Ripley face! I mean, whoaa that's a big reference for the first movie
When Bishop said the A-2's always were a bit twitchy, he didn't literally mean they were twitching. It means they were just off. And it's not milk. It's the white liquid that Androids drink to sustain their fluids. David also drank the same thing in Prometheus
The thing Andy did when he resets and his eyes turn white; The same thing happened in Alien Covenant to Walter when David first thought he killed him, too. They probably did a nod back to Alien Covenant with that
