Ancient advanced civilisation theories are always a bit disingenuous with what they mean by ‘advanced’. The ancients did some clever things with carving stone that we don’t entirely understand, but we’re talking about stone not steel, let alone computers. The Antikythera mechanism is very impressive for using fine-grained cogs, but we’re still talking about something we could have made in c18th. None of it shows any hallmarks of a civilisation as generally advanced as our own, let alone superior to it.

I am of the belief that probability is more in the favor of time travel being possible more than ancient aliens. I say that as most ancient alien references seem to be humanoid type form and their technology is something that humans may well be capable in the near future.
Odds that life evolved in some other world that happens to be able to get to earth and then they didn’t colonize or harvest our planet just seems implausible.

Adding another level to the "Nazca lines were drawn to entice the gods to return" theory, there are two distinct generations of lines. The pictograms are the older lines, while later generations just made abstract geometric shapes- possibly indicating that later generations lost the knowledge that the lines formed pictures when seen from above, and where just making random lines out of rote ritual without understanding the original intent.
