Great video, I was really frustrated with the left mouse moving and having a skill there that wouldn't activate, this helped a lot, I've been using a Logitech G600 since wrath of the Lich King and by default the skill bar here only has 4 slots I didn't realize you could expand it to 5.

That is why is important for games to put a health warning when the game starts. Even Prince of Persia, a Metroidvania is pretty comfortable viewing, not as bad as Diablo4 in motion and screen effects, has the warning.
Diablo 4 has some settings you can turn off to reduce screen effects and flashing. But, there are built-in effects you can't turn off. Especially in the case of Rogue class, affects motion sickness, dizziness, and tiredness. Dance of Knives that jump around the screen with glowing effect whenever Dances of Knives is active, your eyes keep adjusting constantly. Arrow storms from the gear, tiny arrows with lot of motion. Possibly, I should play other classes better with less motion sickness.
Who cares about these settings when Diablo 4 is killing my internet connection in 5 minutes and throws me out anyway. Its a piece of piling shit

All your mouse / keyboard points are why I play with a controller. It’s so much smoother for control of moving and action. The mouse move kills my wrist. And then I can go from my PC to the XBox with no changes as well. 🙂

I see absolutely no difference. It's probably because I'm not an old person and my perception can concentrate on the essentials. In addition, moving the HUD doesn't make it bigger. And the last point, that's why Pro players press Left Mouse continuously and you can still spam Right Mouse or 1-4. OMG who presses individually to move? Crazy tips for the 1970 Generation xDDDDDDDD
if you want to shoot you just hold the shift button and the move/interact part of the left mouse button will be disabled. AFAIK it has been like this since Diablo 2, maybe even Diablo 1
I am a multi mon user and to keep from leaving the screen i lock the cursor to the window. to leave that window simply press alt tab and u can move around both monitors.

Basic attack still moves my character even when I have them separated like your recommendation. What can I do to make my attack not moving without having to hold Shift or any other button modifier?

play with a joystick ! keyboard and mouse suck in this game
One thing I did that saved my life that was not mentioned in the video was reassigning the keyboard shortcut button for the healing potion. Having it on key Q by default was causing me a lot of trouble. So I reassigned it to scrolling button of my mouse. Such an improvement to me!
This would be helpful if I could actually play more than 2 minutes before the game crashes. Sometimes it even crashes while loading. I’ve updated everything and nothing works and it keeps crashing. Help! Lol

Other thing I get rid of is the damage number text. It does not change your playstyle at all and once its gone you notice how much cleaner it looks without it.

Nah the screen shake is supposta distract ya, gives you feel how yer cha feels.
I reducing the strobing, screen shake, font medium size, combat flash, and moving my HUD to the left side is all valid to my comfort, except for the separate Basic attack & interact, hence Controller is limited to the number of buttons to use. Over all, good video.
Fyi 95% of these changes have nothing to do with console
I've seen mentions of using the shift key to standstill for ranged shots. If you combine that with the Force move function it's also a solution for the problem. I bind Force move to a button and if I need to GTFO of the way without interacting with anything, I just use that button as my move and it will neglect the interactions and attack. Just an alternative I figured it was worth mentioning
