I didn't buy it at launch, post patch update I had no issues with bugs, frame rate drops or jankiness… Did you play the DLC? I got it on sale and it adds new modes and death animations…

I love the game. Granted I am a big sci-fi horror fan. Played all the Dead Space series. I am about 9 hours in. Yes it has flaws but so what. I am really enjoying it.
the save points are fucking horrible. and it sounds like Jacob is a robot sometimes. no joke. and sometimes they will talk but the sound of their voice doesnt match their mouth movements. it's buggy too. a lot. but it is awesome. the gameplay. the exploration. the environment is weird and I actually listen to all the logs I find. they just need to fix a lot. the saves. please. ill explore and stack up on found items only for my save to have been 52 minutes since the last save. manually saving literally has no purpose to be there. also lucky you. my ps5 turns off playing ps5 games only and the last ps5 game I got was ragnarök and I had to play the ps4 version of the game on my ps5 bc ps4 games can last all day.
Agreed it's a good game. It's a bit rough at parts and the combat could use some refinement. Overall I really enjoyed my time with this game and I hope they make a sequal and build upon what's there.

Really enjoying this game! I bought the first dead space back in 2008 i am a huge fan of Glens work. Set aside the launch stutter issues i don't have much cons on this game. I love the atmosphere as well as graphics combat needs some refining as well as more enemy variety. You can clearly tell there is passion in the project and hoping to see coming sequel that can improve upon the mechanics and make them better. This game does need more well thought out scares seems to be lacking that spark and tension building that the dead space games had. Over all great experience no where near what some of the reviewers are bashing it for. Crazy with this day an age.
