We’re really all on the same page aren’t we about Mario just sounding like Chris Pratt 😂 I’m still waiting for an explanation as to why Charles Martinet wasn’t hired for the job. It’s such a shame. I pretty much had the same reaction to Mario's voice, it just sounds like Chris Pratt lol, especially compared to Jack Black who is actually voice acting. I'll have to hear more before I judge it fully tho. But overall the animation looks stunning, I'm very excited for this movie and hope it's good!

The last thing Mario says is "Mushroom Kingdom, here we come!" And he says it in a light New York accent. This goes back to the original lore that Mario and Luigi are two plumbers from NY.
What do you mean? Kamek’s voice is amazing. All the voices imo sound great. And there is technically a voice for Mario, it is more high pitched and has a tinge of Northeast United States in the accent compared to Chris Pratt’s voice. And remember, this is just a teaser, it’s not gonna show much, so there’s no reason to be terrified that DK doesn’t show up. Honestly, I don’t think it would make sense for one of the first characters shown to be DK. All you need is Mario, Luigi, Toad and Bowser.
